BUG 1. Not on a VW Beetle, but on a ...
...Bugatti Veyron in Kegworth .
A World record edition no less - one of five in the world and the owner has two other Veyrons in his collection too. One of them wears the plate BUG 11....Bugatti Veyron in Kegworth .
It had orange wings when I saw it and the number plate was on the left. Is it the same car or has he unwrapped it?
[edit] I'm wondering if this was the car I saw...
If it is, I wonder if he he did what I did once, and just transferred numbers onto an identical car and avoided the £25 insurance admin charge .[/edit]

Taken from the Harpenden Classics thread, a 1965 Cooper S with the following:
End of thread?
Unfortunately, the plate was issued around November 1920. If it were an original issue to the original vehicle, I'd be tempted to agree with you .End of thread?

I'd set the standards VERY high to end the thread (but, Thank God, it's not my call).

" C14 RKS " sold for £4,300 + VAT in may 98.... Doesn't sound sound dear to me.? Worth a good chunk more today.!
It really did take me a moment or two to "read" what that could be presumed to say - which goes to prove to an extent that the buyer wasted his/her time. Unless he/she was intending to alter the appearance - surely not????nicanary said:
