Coincidentally I saw this car yesterday... maybe the owner saw my post and looked into why they were breaking the law with black plates. Pity they are still breaking the law with the incorrect font and size!

I saw that too on Saturday, awesome car park, stunning motors

Not easy, but it looks like 23 OXX....which is odd, because 'reverse OXX' was never issued - and it's not a DVLA issue....

Edit - it may be DXX, issued in 1962.

In Manchester this afternoon
That was at Gumball 3000 in Manchester. It sneaked in pretending to be part of the convoy!

Here are a couple I've seen:

3 PV - belonging to Sir Peter Vardy (son of Reg)

L55 SSJ - on a matt VW van.

I've also seen OH 07 SPY which amused me. It was on an Aston. I realise that it's in the wrong thread and Aston/James Bond plates are frowned upon here but it made me smile!

Did you see it in your rearview mirror? wink

Edit: I just noticed, it should be L22 SSJ to be a rearview plate.

B 2 on a Range Rover!
R222 DDD on a Mondeo.

I've seen this a few times, but this is the first time I managed to grab a pic. I've also seen a black Bentley with MOV1E in the same area, so I'm guessing they're owned by the same person.
I'm saying nowt about the exhausts on the RR...

Very odd, I thought it was OXX too, looking at more photos taken at the time though revealed BXX. A green 3.5 Jag 1961. I must try harder rolleyes

I always thought they were both from the Ashby de la Zouche area?

Yep, that's where I've seen them too. I'd be interested to know who owns them.
