8800 E is owned by the owner of a Chinese restaurant in Newark, Nottinghamshire. Currently on an Audi A6 and I've always known it be on either an Audi or a VW.

Is that one of those stereoscope 3D images that I can't see and just look like a fuzzy mess? smile

No, it's one of those 'girlfriend tries taking a photo while we drive down the road' images. Shocking, absolutely shocking.

It was!

Is he about in Bristol? I don't know him personally, I just know he's had a few FFRR's over the years and now a Rolls Royce, fairly new one too, judging by the head and tail lights.

Possibly. Is the Fezza registered as yellow by any chance?

That is a shame - would at least be better if it had a dateless plate (as it would get if the plate was transferred today).

NS 4897

NS is a January 1904 series from Sutherland County Council (Scotland). By the beginning of 1952 they had reached only to NS 2505.

When was this one issued?
Well, they went right the way through to June 1964, when they had only reached NS 5693. The Fourth slowest issue rate (the other three were also from Scotland!) Without access to the local public records office, you can only guess, but I would say very early 60s.

I saw the Ferrari about, meaning the plates probably been shifted over or something.
