How illiquid is the market?

I get the impression these things trade once in a blue moon (and the offer price is merely a guide). I would guess that if you try to sell at short notice, you will realise less than you paid, even in a rising market.

You need to be able to wait for the right buyer to turn up. You could wait a looooooong time.

To give you an idea as to how long you could wait, RegTransfers have been selling, and trying to sell to me, one particular number for 10 years now. At £25k + VAT I'll not be buying it anytime soon.

rofl. I know that feeling. A close approximation of my surname is available on their site for 20k + vat. When I was a little younger (and with considerably more disposable income), I offered 6k, which is not a bad return on an original 800 investment. Obviously I was turned down, but they do still keep trying to sell me it at 20k smile

No Pic but seen EZ 9 on an Evoque in Belfast and I think EZ 3 on a Z4 as well, looked brilliant.

Does anyone how profitable Regtransfers is?

They seem to keep buying £500 numbers and then try to sell them to me for £19k. I know they act as agents but they also seem to buy in to stock and the numbers must sit around for years.

1 CE on a Bentley on the Wirral this afternoon, followed by 10 TEN later on. Can't even remember what that was on. Maybe a GTC.

EDIT. Cayenne or Panamera iirc. It's been a long day.

8VD on a white bentley in Leicester last night. No photo unfortunately as it was dark and we were trying to pass each other on a narrow street near Enderby

I thought it was a K confused Well it looks like a K anyway (although I am using the small screen on the phone so that could explain if it is an X).

Where was this? I use to see it on a Vogue quite regularly -

I think '4 AK' is in the collection of plates Project Kahn have.
