Had to do a double take when I saw HAA 1 in my mirror - a good plate, perfectly readable in a mirror!

Mike Watterson was Derby County Football Club's Chairman in the early 1980's. The registration plate is 'CUE 1' because Mike Watterson was a snooker promoter.
CUE 1 was previously owned by the great snooker player Joe Davies OBE (1901-1978)

No it isn't.

It's a Northern Irish plate.

Wilsons have taken recently to auctioning off a load of '1's
And yet they haven't touched any of the unissued mega plates! Can't understand why.
Some of them must have a value of half a million easily, perhaps significantly more if sold in pairs/ sets?
Was this not an original issue in 1970 by Antrim?

I wonder if you good people can help me? A friend had in the family for a good number of years - about 55 years I believe - the number AT 4. He's wondering if it has disappeared or if it still exists.

Saw DRY 61T on a white van in Leicester yesterday, made me chuckle.

No photo as my phone was flat though.
