This is a fantastic plate as SUS 1E.
Any normal person would still read that as Susie so why would you bother misspacing?

Why not? The chance of being caught is very small and the penalties also.

The two-faced DVLA sold it only because it reads "SUSIE" anyway.

Absolutely ! Smiley should have been biggrin
Saw a Park Lane BMW issued plate recently with a middle eastern looking name made up with no space where a 33mm one should have been, complete with BS mark.

My old plates were mis-spaced (A7TAK) but had the BS mark

TBH I specced the strap line at the bottom but if you look closely you'll see the BS reference in the top right hand corner which they put in presumably as a matter of course

Quite often you'll find the rear plate (the one seen by more people) is legal whereas the front one is a bit suspect.

Why would you not? To any one who doesn't collect number plates they don't see the difference between XYZ 1E and XYZ1E. Nobody cares about a missing space.

Certainly not the police.

Hell, you could put those plates through an MOT no problem with many testers.

And often the chavvier suspect front plates may confuse the forward facing cameras thus adding to the perpetrators criminality....teacher
