Iirc, that's Cilla Hartley's car, daughter of Tom Hartley the car dealer.

They have some nice plates ....

Son Tom H Jnr I think has THJ 1 and son Carl has C4RLS.
Two DVLA Auction numbers.. " C1 LLA " £6,750 March 02 " C4 RLS " £4,500 June 98 + VAT Etc.... Both quite reasonable IMO...

Someone locally also rocks "ISIS 55" - I'm imagining it's value has dropped of recent (I'm also not sure exactly what it's supposed to read tbh)
Would that be 1515 SS, on a Passat? Can't think what else it could be, 151 SSS isn't coming up.

I see a school bus now and again with the usual cheapo Irish plate on it to hide its age. Although noticed recently it is actually quite good:

I spotted "PUT 1N" yesterday
I saw this car (Jag) too parked up on my way over to Poole on the Blandford Forum road - just looked and it's not showing as insured so not sure what it was.
That's weird cos it was definately on a Suzuki Swift (or something very like one) in Newcastle on Tuesday

p.s. just DVLA'd it and it comes up as a Suzuki (2006) so...

The best plate/car combo I have ever seen
Can anyone shed any light as to which estate agent owns this plate or where it can be seen parked up?

thanks

That is weird! I'm going down the same road today so if I see it I'll find out what I saw wobble

A little worthless information.... But December will celebrate DVLA's 25 years of selling Personalised registrations..... Nearing 150 auctions and 4.2 million registrations sold with £2 Billion....! Raised for the Treasury..... So real good numbers are here to stay..... nerd

It's REALLY good numbers - the phrase real good numbers is grammatically incorrect, unless you are trying to point out that the numbers actually exist in tangible form.

Heil grammar!

Most who complain about spacing and grammar on here are all the same.
Can't imagine how insufferable they would be in real life. wink

Had a decent haul this weekend:

1 CRV and OBV 1 (separately, although they would have looked good together)

Not quite in the same league, but still quite good:

OL10 LLY (not mis-spaced) and SPR 4T.

11 CRV on a CRV no less.
5XS Articulated Lorry. Spacing may have been iffy.
145 D 158 As I understand it an Egyptian Diplomat in UK.
14341 Silver on Black Channel Island plate.
