No pic (was behind me) - saw O3 on a Volvo this week - how many 1x1 plates are left in circulation? - can't be very many

I imagine most are.

Out of interest, does anyone know any stories about mega-plates which for one reason or another were lost to the DVLA while on retention? I have about 5 outlook reminders to renew the retention on a plate worth less than a grand... to forget to renew the retention on a 1x1 would be sacrilege!

My OCD sense says you should buy a 1976 911 RS to put it on.

There is a family that I know of who like their private plates. They have:

DBG 6 - Ford Fiesta

PDG 555 - Mercedes E-Class

RPG 1 - Porsche 911

CPG 301 - Porsche 911

A really nice little collection I think.
