… Car Check says a 'Tyr Sports' - any ideas anyone? Is it a bike?? Congestion charging just has it as a red unknown model.
Sounds like good news to me - sounds like the "TVR Sports" 350i is alive and well? TVR to Tyr looks like a typo?It was a bit of a mess as I spun it into a ditch backwards. As I recall, a couple of the corners' suspension had also collapsed. I'm surprised that it would have been repaired and put back on the road though, it would have needed substantial fibreglass work on the back end, as well as all 4 corners looking at. Wouldn't have struck me as financially worthwhile considering it was only purchased for £6K in the mid/late 90's. The value wouldn't have changed much from the purchase price as the incident happened about 8 hours after picking it up!

Thanks guys, it was indeed a red TVR 350i so the info that you have found would match up.

DVLA says the MOT expired 23rd June 2011, tax expired at the end of December 2010, and the export marker is set to "Yes". 3498cc, manufactured in 1986, first registered 5th November 86.It was a bit of a mess as it I spun it into a ditch backwards. So, as the export market is set to yes, it would be safe to say that the car was exported?
The next 350i that I had, a few years later, was also exported as per the end of this thread:

Seems as though red wedges are appreciated all over the world!
