23 years ago the plate was £50K plus fees.

David certainly appears to have lived life to the full when he was with us.

Posting this here as it was along side the car above - covered in crystals, must have cost a bloody fortune.

Seen today, a white Rolls being chucked about a bit on the back streets of Pimlico near Sloane Square. Plate, mis-spaced but still bloody good, OO7. No picture since I had an arm-full of work.

Some from around Nottingham today - all properly presented:

JUL 3S - Mercedes S-Class

V4 ULT - Porsche Macan

SU11 SET - VW Transporter owned by a company called Sunset.

And, my second favourite Nottingham plate I see regularly (after VAL 1):

4 LAN - Mercedes CLS63 AMG

Not bad but like the Ferrari with 25O, don't plan on visiting Guernsey with it.

Shouldn't be a problem with the Rolls I saw since it had white and yellows on so obviously a GB plate.

(Guernsey) Plates may be either silver on a black background, or black on the white/yellow backgrounds as in the UK.
He should put on a GB sticker as well if he wants to try his luck, but watch out for No 1 as that belongs to the Guernsey Bailiff. smile
My point was that once you alter the legal design it's not a number plate good or bad. Only my opinion, though I think it's great in it's proper form and well worth posting up for discussion in either form.
