Yes another one for the "plate worth more than car" list from this afternoon.

RUG 8Y (spaced correctly) on a nondescript Eurobox.

In Rugby, of course. Lived close to there for donkey's years and never seen it before.

And I saw R11 GBY on a new Disco on the A49 in Cheshire the other night. Spaced over two lines, correctly.

That was going through my mind, I guess either it came registered like that from the supplier, or the deal gave it away free of charge

It might not be a government-owned vehicle. If a private company were contracted to do the camera work, they may be allowed to have POLICE written all over their vehicle?

could be i suppose. a lot of the buses in oxford have private plates, dont know if they are privately run?
