Yes pretty sure it's legal - even on a five digit plate '1's' can appear quite close together. That plate is probably worth more than the car was brand new!

White new shape Boxster, joined the M4 at junction 12.
Number plate was W3BBR, was it, I wonder? A certain Ex F1 driver?
Sadly I was in the Zr and couldn't keep up.

Spotted tonight, on what I thought looked very much like a badly driven Ford Fiesta. DVLA, and Cartell.ie, on the other hand, both show it as being on a blue, 2007, Mercedes A180 Avantgarde 2 litre CDI.

I confess to not being a fan of personalised plates in any form, but to get two separate names displayed on a single plate, with no need to mis-space or butcher characters seems to be a clever trick to pull off.

I see that quite often,belongs to Ribby Hall near Blackpool.Last time I saw it I was thinking it should be renamed the Blue Cloud on account of the colour and volume of emissions from the exhaust!
