Interesting post ....... 'V' was the first prefix every issued for the area of Lanarkshire in Scotland - so V48 was the 48th reg number ever issued in this area . I live in Lanarkshire and I have V79 - quite rare for such an old plate to still be in circulation in its original district of issue ........ If that not bizarre enough my neighbour has V78 on his range rover !!!
I agree, that's great to see them still in the area 101 years on! I love 'single prefix' plates, I don't care that they don't 'mean' anything..Notadoctor said:
