OK, first the ones I wasn't able to get a picture of

M 9 on a older FFRR
C1 GAR on a Transit
PAU 1

Now the nice plate with the crappy picture

Hard to see I know. but I did try, it's 7 X

And some I did manage to grab a picture

What's the story behind this one? The reverse is of course a NI plate, but not this one

Probably the most photographed plates are 2 BE and NOT 2B, well I can go one betterbiggrin

Strangly enough 2 BE and subsequent numbers were auctioned off. but 1 isn't listed. Any ideas?

Followed 1845 RD on Monday heading from Leicester towards Lutterworth. Looked unusual, and appears to be an interesting one as it doesn't seem to have been bought at a DVLA auction. Any ideas of the age / history?
One of the last pre-prefix plates issued by Reading. They issued 701 RD - 2113 RD in March 1964, followed by ARD 1B.
cheers M3DGE, much appreciated. So its around 50 years old, good to know. I did wonder if it was an irish plate, so glad to hear its a bit rarer. Btw, I didn't notice the filler cap was open when I took the pic smile

Obviously frustrated you can't stick it in the "crappy" thread so you insult the owner by trying to read something in to a lovely number 1 plate....! and then continue to insult his car.....! clap
Why is that an insult? I'd have thought it more of an insult to flag someone as being a snob than not being one....

The offending owner needs all the insults we can throw at him/her. Selfish ignorant fecker, parking so as to partially obstruct the FOOTWAY, with no consideration for the needs of others. Sod the requirements of parents with pushchairs, wheelchair users, or blind/partially sighted persons, eh? Made all the worse by the fact that there is no apparent reason why it couldn't have been parked with all four wheels fully on the CARRIAGEWAY.

So it should have been put in the "bad parking" thread...! rather than cluttering this thread with up with utter drivel...!
