That'll do nicely. Seen near Salcombe in Devon this morning.
I really like this one. It suits the vehicle though I'm not sure why. Great spot!

Saw my first SLR on the road this evening, eastbound on the M4 in Wales. The plate was A722SLR.

I'm ashamed to say I had to look it up to realise what a good plate it is.

That SLR was one of the cars from the "£20million" collection, sold recently to Talacrest according to this...

This plate was originally issued to the Vauxhall/Opel dealer [now closed] who were near B'ham City's St Andrew's ground.

I see this in Southgate/cockfosters fairly regularly. The Lexus looks great, especially with that plate.

I remember a distant family relation had this reg number years ago on an old step through moped and still retained the old style log book. I saw it probably 25 years ago.

He always thought it had been lost 'in the system' possibly during computerisation by DVLA so the monetary value of it was also lost for him.
Would be interesting to know how it has later appeared on the RAV4 - maybe he had sold it and forgot??

It looked really nice, better than the pictures. It was being driven considerately, it sat well on the road and rolled along in the traffic with an air of authority. Good to see.

Regretably no pic, but 9N last night near Banbury on a very dull Peugeot box. Normally when you see these 'good plate bad car' combos you can assume the plate was inherited, but no! 'Reverse N' was issued in 1959, but only from 1000 N - 9999 N. This plate was sold by DVLA in 1994....for £5800!!! Close to or over six figues now, along with all other single/ singles.

5 TU correctly spaced on a Merc. Must be worth a bob or two as it appeals to those after a short plate and those with a certain name.

BA11 SAX on an Ibiza. I assume that he was the saxophonist in the Kenny Ball Band, but I may be wrong wink.
