Had a chat with the owner of plate RON 78 today in the pub.

It just so happens that in our 10 min chat he was aged 78 and purchased the plate in 1962-3 (He wasn't sure). He Paid £70 in 1962-63 and is currently on a tatty Peugeot 106 blue in colour.

He was quite aware that it's worth several more £££ than his car and he told me only recently what someone offered. The price he told me was way more than I had in mind and I sat there "I bet he's told a few stories" ... Any guesses what he said? Or anyone know what it's asking price would be?

I know it's not the most exciting of plates, but him being aged 78 I thought was a nice story... His name Ron by the way

Took these 2 today on St John's Wood High Street.

Not sure if you can read the plate but the S Class pulling out is showing "RKB 2"

Sweet little Indian lady in a sari got out of the back seat.

And at the same time across the road is it's twin.

Sorry if this has already been mentioned, but one of the Glasgow taxi firms have a few nice plates they run on their cars.

Passed a couple this morning - 23H on a C-Class, and 82E on an Octavia.

Was at Lydden for the RX on Sunday there was a Merc parked up with the plate

AC63 AMG

Looked good but was incorrectly spaced so should, probably, go in the other thread.

He's around and about still.
Doesn't have 6E any more - the owner of 6E also has 7E.
