Real Good Number Plates : Vol 4
Discussion
Not sure if this is "real good" or just plain ordinary...
BMW 320D
On a black, 2006 (according to DVLA) BMW 320D. Spotted this morning, in Farnborough, sporting some form of promotional vinyl on the side of the vehicle. I suspected corporate BMW ownership, given that their UK HQ is here in Farnborough, or maybe Barons BMW dealership, but I'm fairly sure if it was either of them they'd have transferred it to a more 'current' demonstrator by now?
...I'm aware that some will think it's a bit 'sad' to have your plate repeat the boot-lid badging, but I've no strong opinion on it. I'm far more annoyed by butchered letters, inappropriate screw caps, and excessive spacing changes.

I think it's definitely cool if it is for example a Mercedes 500 SEC with the plate "500 SEC" or even a Mercedez 190 E with the corresponding "190 E" plate. Not so sure about a 320d but to be fair you don't see many cars with a plate that matches their model. Esp. not a ssangyong korando for obvious reasons yellowjack said:

Funnily enough, this one used to turn up to my work. I think the guy worked here but I never worked out who he was (it's a fairly big office!). Not seen it for a while though...BMW 320D

The problem with something like that in many cases is that if a car model is canned then it just ends up being only relevant to a £500 shed, and probably worth as much.BMW 320D

In many ways I'd rather see it as HE 11, I'd still get it, but still a good spot
