I remember seeing one or both those plates plate in the 90's or 00's, owned by a local Stafford night club owner I believe, haven't seen them for a while.

CH 21S on a grey bentley, think there might've been a gathering in reading as there were loads of Bentley and rollers about.

Interesting one - I spotted this new RRS SVR parked illegally in York this aft. The reg was perfect - 5VR. However, after doing both a rev check, and DVLA tax check, it comes back as on a 2013 A3 diesel?
It could have been recently transferred and systems not yet updated on line. The A3 owner probably realised the value in the plate when the SVR was launched too!
Reminds me of a friend of a friend who as a young teenager, was given an old mini van to play in (this would have been in the early 80's) plate was 190E
Don't want to be a pedant, but are you sure that was the plate? 'E' was issued reverse in 1953 1000-2500 and then again in 1958 2501-9999. I think both are too early for the first Minis, if it was original, and 1-999 were never issued but some have been sold by DVLA since the mid 90s. 190 E is not showing up as having been sold, and it's not on a car.

Loving this on an old Vectra. Also spied M1 CKY - properly spaced! - but no pic, sadly.

And this beauty, on an Ice Cream Van of all things! At Brean Theme Park, Somerset. Issued by Derbyshire in 1903.

If I remember correctly - this is a cab, quite often seen around Heathrow.

That pic was only taken down the road in Telford, could well be the same bloke. When work was being done on a nearby house a couple of other cars were parked up with it, complete with BOOB themed numberplates. biggrin
