I've tried to check the vast number of previous posts here but didn't see it, so have we had this Range Rover?

Not sure about the Ford, perhaps it needs to be in the other thread.
RR spotted 16th September 2015 ( two pages back ) at Sutton Scotney Services - HTH

Ah, missed it 'cos I was trying to use the search facility across all the number plate threads and it was just an image.
I'll try to keep up.

I only remembered as I liked the colour on the RR

I think this was just originally a regular issue so I'm thinking someone in the past lucked out with this one.
I thought that when they launched the then-new "prefix" plates, they reserved the numbers 1-20, all tens up to 90, all hundreds, and all double-digit and triple-digit, for personalised sale. But my old Audi starts C444, so I wonder whether that would make it a special order or whether I've mis-remembered.
It depended on the initial letter I think. A-H they only kept 1-20 back I think.

This isn't a UK plate, it's from the middle east somewhere

Looks like a UK plate to me (yellow rear), middle eastern plates are white front & back aren't they?

More and more middle eastern cars are using the plates of UK style as it doesn't single them out as much as having one that's completely different.

I've an idea this belongs to Smith Knight Fay, Audi dealer in the Stockport area, I recall seeing it on a 200 avant quattro many years ago.
