Deffo RRR 1 according to the eBay book wink. RRR 1 = September 1954, 1 RRR = January 1963.
what's the ebay book? frown
Most likely this one, my plate bible:-

I've got that one, but it only lists the year. This one lists the month as well...

Even though it's a 1969 publication, I think it's a much better book (both to read and as a spotters' guide)

I'm annoyed that the rain spoiled the V10 NOT plate. Grrr
Even better when you know the owners...one has an orange F12 (amongst others!) and the other an orange Aventador. wink

Must be worth 10x that today?

I've seen quite a few 'ABC 1' format plates recently, a lot of them with young looking drivers - seems they're splashing out a bit more on decent plates.

I wish I'd pulled the trigger on my ideal one but it's since sold, ironically it's now on the same car as I own laugh

Couldn't have given the specific plate ( good work Shaw) but there seem to be quite a few single singles on fairly mundane metal.
Wasn't A 1 on a mini quite recently?

I like the AMP plate.
On a similar theme, I saw PA55 MUD on a Defender recently.

Not a chance.

488 S sold for £59k just last month, 31 S is not a patch on that.

73 T fetched £8500 in November of 2014.

A few interesting 15 plates in the next auction at £700 estimates:

BR15 TOL
CU15 HAW
WH15 KEY
TH15 TLE

Not sure what they will actually go for.
