Real Good Number Plates : Vol 4
Discussion
Trevatanus,
What I particularly like is that you have posted personal plates before on more than one occasion, skilfully creating a smokescreen over a period of time so that you could then carry out your fiendish plan and slip one posed photo into an obscure thread on an obscure website !!
Please keep posting and ignore morons like WD, eventually the govt. will see that care in the community isn't working and WD will get his nice comfy padded cell back

Where do I start?
You have Rob, clearly visible in the drivers seat, lghts on, posing for a 'Look at me' type photo. Probably got it out of the garage for the occasion.
Check out the 'A Bit Council' and 'Crappy Number Plates' threads for further evidence.
By not contributing to a thread where you're clearly trying to provoke people? You have Rob, clearly visible in the drivers seat, lghts on, posing for a 'Look at me' type photo. Probably got it out of the garage for the occasion.

You might not like the plate, it might not be a £100k plate but it is a nice plate and fits in to this thread.

Hi Knitware,
No problem - I'm happy to help you!
Nottingham issued BAU 7 in January, 1935.
The BAU series ran through until depletion (i.e. BAU 999) in October the same year, at which point CAU 1 etc was issued.
The CAU series lasted right through to December 1936, when it was replaced with the DAU series, which was exhausted in September 1937, followed by EAU 1 through to EAU 999, issued in August 1938.
I could go on but I hope that helps!
Out of interest, the reverse format, i.e. 7 BAU, was issued in February 1958.

WOW, that's great thank you!
Some people don't think plates are interesting but BAU 7 is 80 years old, there's history right there!
I wonder what car that reg was issued with and what journey the plate has been on, how many cars etc, maybe I'm being a little bit romantic...
Excellent, thank you!

If YOU are the registered keeper, you can contact DVLA to get the answer to your questions. There is a fee, but it's quite small (£5, I think).WOW, that's great thank you!

If the data is not on the computer, it may not be available. I don't think they will search the books (if they still exist) unless you pay big bucks, or it's a cold case and you have a warrant .
