Is the first going to go to auction?
When I tried years ago (C4 POR and C2 POR), I found ringing on a mobile and landline simultaneously worked. Both plates were available when I got through. Most C plates were £250 from memory. These two were either £1k or £500 each, I can't remember. Bottled it then called back to buy later, both sold. Grrrr....

My man maths says it'll cost me 166 a year (over 30 years)
The longer you keep it, the cheaper it gets .Gunk said:
They do indeed, I bought two good plates 20 years ago and they have probably doubled in value. The more crap plates the DVLA issue, the more the dateless non-prefix/suffix plates are worth
Totally agree... DVLA will be running out of "good" plates, investment wise one or two of mine are worth several times what I paid with the added benefit of enjoying them..! CRA1G said:

I missed out on CRA 19H a couple of years ago. I think it went for £2500. I just didn't have the money at the time.Smiggy said:
