Does it have to? I wouldn't care if my single-single plate didn't represent my name.The owner is a nice bloke, bought the plate a couple of years ago and seemed the sort who knew it could be a good investment. Lives near the Dorchester I think.

I'm sorry if people feel I was being pedantic, but a list of random numbers without photos is pointless, the photo above with a great plate on the car, shot with a camera phone is what it should be about. It brings the thread to life. Just my opinion.
I'm with you. I don't see the point of listing plates without either a pic or a "saw this near x and a y car" to give context.If I wanted to see a list of plates, I'd go to NewReg.com (other plate sites are available).
