I'm a tad annoyed with myself! On Friday afternoon I picked my S4 up from the body shop having had the complete front end resprayed, and backed it in to the garage. Saturday I decided to plug in the Optimate and lifted the bonnet to do so. A couple of hours later I noticed it was raining so rushed out to shut the garage door forgetting my car was sitting there with the bonnet up. This is the result:

So, back to the body shop in the morning feeling slightly stupid! It didn't even survive 24 hours.

Curse of the respray strikes again!! At least it was only the bonnet,

I had the whole car painted so I had to roll it end over end to get every panel. Only took 2 weeks for it to strike, I had never had an accident before and I'd never had a car painted either.

Real ball ache that one, know how you feel.

Could have been worse, have you seen the advert of a kid who thought he was operating a remote toy car but was instead opening and closing the garage door on his dad's Audi.

In fairness, that probably didn't really happen.

Having a 'proper' accident is not so embarrassing! I'm going to feel really stupid at the body shop in the morning. I only collected it as they were closing on Friday.
