RE: Porsche Carrera GT: Spotted

A silver Carrera GT had a nice wee cameo in Fracture, a 2007 movie starring Anthony Hopkins and Ryan Gosling

The sound of the SLR, The Sound!!!
For bang for bucks, you cannot go past the SLR.
The GT however is still a fantastic car. 10 seconds faster around the Nurburgring and 4.3 seconds faster around Hockenhein short, if it is more track than long straights you are after then the GT is the way to go. But that SLR Sound.
You can actually compare the cars here http://www.zeperfs.com/en/duel3277-1158.htm you can duel them against each other. Actually you can duel any two or more cars against each other. Very handy site.
I'd love a GT but I'd just never get it. As soon as I got the 150k the SLR would be in the garage!

Sorry, this wouldn't get it over the LFA for me.
I like the look of them, but I fail to see the added appeal over the SLR tbh.

I can honestly say I would take the CGT over an SLR & LFA together. The only LFA I have seen was in the Geneva Motor Show and it interested me about the same as a GTR or 997t.
I do like the SLR mind, just nowhere near as much as the CGT.
Probably one of the best sounding Porsche of all time. There is something about a high revving race engine designed V10. When you go back in history and listen to F1 engines screaming on track, the best sounding in my opinion were always the 3.5L V10's. They sounded even better than the 3.5L Ferrari V12's they raced against.
