Do you think it looks worse than the BAC Mono
Do you think Ann Widdicombe looks worse than Cameron Diaz?
Dear Caterham, please get Cameron Diaz draped over your cars in future.
It will distract us all from the circus freakshow entrant you've built.

I did just knock this up for a bit of fun... just to see if rounder lights suited it more...

And it was going so well until they showed the front of the car, you would have thought the wind tunnel would have help with the styling. Looks terrible.

Was this what you were going for Caterham?
Kind of fell a bit short didn't you?
Maybe instead of the SLR Stirling Moss, yours could be called the Caterham CP1 ( Charles Pic )

An improvement ... ultimately it is a bit like polishing a turd!

Also, correct me if I'm wrong but isn't there a maximum height for step-over sides for type approval? If there is, there's no way that meets them.
Even for low volume?
I might be completely wrong here, but as I understand it you can get some sort of exemption on a per-country basis, but it will presumably completely limit their markets. Can anyone confirm how this works?

That does actually improve it a lot !
Though fire would also have the same effect.

wow - isn't it amazing how a company can get something so incredibly wrong.
You have to wonder what the process was to get to that stage. Didn't someone go - it's hideous - no one will buy it ?!

But this does come to mind.

Jenkins was fired after he drove his master's Bristol through the 'chop and shop paint service' garage...

It's not actually the front that bothers me - it's the flatness of the top and sides.

Sorry, we were talking about cars, not your threesome fantasies. There's probably a thread in the Lounge for that.
Fantastic, I'll get over there then and leave this one to your expert eye

Dear god. There's not a single angle that looks right from. Its an unmitigated mess.
I wonder why a company like Caterham without any in house designers or budget doesn't just run a competition for industrial design students to design something like this, with the top designs given exposure and the best chosen by a poll of their customers and marque enthusiasts. If its good enough for Ferrari...

The biggest problem is that the images are on a solid white background. It needs to be taken to tracks with other cars so we can judge the proportions properly.

No the biggest problem is it looks fvcking stupid and the fewer people who see it the better. Frankly its embarrasing. I can't believe Caterham thought it was a good idea to release these images

I do quite like it, although from this angle it does look like a bed and just needs Eric and Ernie in their pyjamas to complete the image.

Or even Bert and Ernie.

Is that bedsheet Caterham green ?

From Bert's hand position it looks like the right hand drive version.
