Sweet mother of god! That is feckin hideous.

Try to move the game on by all means, but not with a cack handed rehash of the original.

Still, the new nose badge was at least a worthy use of time and resources, Idiots.

Someone discovered the 'fill' feature in Paint, didn't they??

Let's be honest about something here - Caterham have done REALLY well with the 7, it still looks like a Lotus 7 but there's probably not a part on the thing they've not upgraded or improved and yet it's still a raw and fantastic thing.

Unfortunately, they're a 1 trick pony - and by the look of that they'll remain one...

Fortunately, it's clearly a profitable trick - or is their involvement in F1 hurting do we think?

But has this suffered from the 'wide angle lens syndrome'?
Many cars are photographed with the photographer very low down and using a 28mm? lens....... I remember years ago a tv programme featuring Kit Cars, and a pal said the next day 'but they all look like they have bulbous front ends!' and he couldn't realise the lens doesn't always flatter.
Maybe a photo with 60-80mm lens, taken at eye height will give a better indication of what the car look like to the human observer standing nearby?
I doubt it. The picture of the front is clearly taken from the standing position. And as the fella above has said, basking shark.

Looks like it has it's mouth wide open. Given that it will be more than likely to cost a good lump of cash more than a regular 7, who would pay extra for that face?

looks like someone took a 7 and made it an extra in a new sci-fi movie, set in the crazy world of the future.

I like that. I was actually quite surprised when I scrolled down and saw the negative comments.

Rear view - looks Good,
Rear 1/4 view - looks OK,
Side view - looks OK(ish)
Front View - WTF happened ?

Overall though I like it but that front needs to be sorted.

Can't help but think that sort of thing has been done before (but in a better looking way) with the Lotus 2-Eleven?

Not very pretty is it?... And really does have the whiff of a warmed over 7 with a plastic body dumped on top. At least Zenos know that's one rival they don't have to worry about....

Oh dear, that's not gone well.

Many have tried to rebody the Seven - and to my knowledge, none have succeeded (in making something that looks good). Something about the proportions and layout of the platform just doesn't work for anything besides the traditional Seven silhouette.

Well the Lotus XI and Caterham 21 were pretty good efforts.

The interior looks great, the sides between the front and back wheels also. The rest looks appauling. Completely lacks any eye pleasuse and the proportions are all wrong. And it appears Riad Asmat, Tan Sri Datuk Asmat Kamaludin, Kamarudin Meranun and SM Nasarudin have determined the best place to launch this is in a country with the highest population density in the world.....because it is close to home.

Getting really tired of some of the foreign ownership of GB's "crown jewels".

Certainly challenging on the eye but so are the obvious direct competitors (X-Bow, 2-11, Mono, Vuhl, Atom). None of these cars are "pretty".

This car feels like a distraction before the more interesting Caterham-Alpine is released.
