Looks like they were inspired by the Aston Martin CC100 concept a bit - but ended up with something hideous!

Front View - WTF happened ?

Overall though I like it but that front needs to be sorted.
This I think.... tho' it does look like a member of the Whale Shark family from the front.
and it might look better in the flesh

playing the advocate, it is still a concept...
no headlights etc, where might they go and of what style, these could make the front end not too bad.. if they were the right fit.

Still good on them for trying,

Is this really the car they will be unveiling this weekend in Singapore ?
The title does suggest it is only a concept.

ell the Lotus XI and Caterham 21 were pretty good efforts.
Fury, Phoenix & SSC Stylus are all essentially rebodied 7 clones.

If you take all the green bodywork off you would end up with a carbon bodied 7...

That's just a CSR with a re-skin isn't it? Other than a bit of carbon the F1 partnership doesn't appear to have brought much to the party - assuming these photos are accurate.

I'm not convinced by the validity of these photos.

Is that a TV in the dash of a Caterham?!

The centre grille I reckon looks alright, and if it was a re-style using that but keeping the 'normal' caterham look I think it would have been OK. The green panels on the front look like pointless add ons unfortunately and doesn't look different enough from a normal seven to me.

Love the idea but shame they didn't go for a more contemporary design at the front. Something more like the Mallock MK32 on wards would look great. Maybe even with side mounted radiators!

It's just a render, it's just a render, it's just a render, it's just a render... LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA

Oh god it's still there.

I hate to hate on cars because I bet if they build it it will be a cracking drive but I wouldn't be surprised if it's a joke and maybe someone was using a Caterham IP to send the press release. I bet that funny orange petro-nasal website will have some words...

When Alfa makes a concept car you hope and pray it makes it into production, although it rarely does. I hope and pray to suffer the same disappointment with this complete abortion of a car.

Looks like a fag packet someone trod on and burst open at one end. I opened this thread expecting something like Morgan's AeroMax so it was always going to be a massive disappointment.

I think dull is the word I'm looking for.

This I think....
I'm in this camp too.

Fingers crossed they'll take away some of the criticisms placed on the concept and fix it before trying to sell it!

Work experience or care in the community?

Either way it's nice that Caterham are getting involved.

This is a very well produced video and reveals some more features on the car. That dash is AWESOME!

Its no 21

But at least its different from another 7 clone, with a face lift it could be really good.
