It just felt like the kid at school that tries to swear to be cool without it ever sounding natural.
Have pointed this out before on Chris's video. Even if it's the way you normally talk (and we all do) it doesn't come across well in videos. It just felt like the kid at school that tries to swear to be cool without it ever sounding natural.
Still, that Lexus...

Interesting point about the brand overlap at JLR. There has always been the discussion within in the industry, that parent Company Tata, may one day sell off one of the brands.
Dangerous strategy. Then you'd have a competitor doing similar products knowing everything about how you do it, i.e. you'd have no real competitive advatage in terms of engineering and manufacturing nous.pp
I made the mistake of going on the first public day- had to come home and watch this to actually see the cars.. Completely missed the 917, never bothered with Audi at all, stumbled across Tesla stuck in the broom cupboard and gawped for a while and saw most of the stuff that interested me in the component supplier halls.Couple of Gullwing 300SL's and a real 959 and Quattro Sport amongst the old stuff. Next time I think I'll stay at home and wait for Harris to show me round. Great vid and natural enthusiasm shows through..he made the same noises at the 917 as me when I saw the Stratos and 4c, but the swearing started when I saw those bloody headlights. Sort it out Alfa!

2.5lit/km - heh - hole in the tank?
Also - the bet you lost which means you have to wear that suit this many times must have been epic...
The Nanuk still looks like a Matchbox car - the off ride height and the 'same colour' wheels and trim (silver paint) - horrible...
The 'classics at a motorshow' thing is a bit odd really - when the public are there it makes sense but I guess (from the lack of people) that was a press day so it's easy to see why they'd not be interested - it's not what they're paid for!?

Top video, Harris, but we have to do something about that suit if you're going to keep going to formal do's where there'll be a camera running...
Any man can look good in a suit. But, it needs to be the right suit. It's just a matter of fitting the appropriate style to the body shape that "higher authority" has stuck you with.
You need to meet a proper tailor; drop me a line off-piste & I'll introduce you to mine..
