I used to know one of the test drivers who developed the De Lorean in the 70's so used to see one on a regular basis.

I haven't seen one on the road until this week, and have now seen two in two days.

Back in 2010 we were waiting for the tunnel back to England and these were at the head of the queue...they certainly turned a lot of heads...

Saw a few of these at the old Cosford meet.

I quite like them.

They are certainly a one off and the motoring world would be a less interesting place without them. It's a shame they didn't have the performance to match the visuals. I think the stainless steel body's weight blunted the performance significantly. Nostalgic stuff though and I enjoy nosing around one when the opportunity arises.
