Dear CORVETTE, Ferrari would like a word with you in privet?
Dear Corvette or Dear Callaway? Or are you hedging your bets here?
Yes, let's not beat around the bush.
Does it still have those leaf springs?
I always say that too; in this case, I just don't care. It looks fantastic....!!

I'm trying to like it but just can't. The Z3MC looks good but this looks wrong somehow. Maybe it'll look better to me in the flesh.

I guess that the Callaway in question is this lot: http://www.callawaygolf.com

Just been designed by a Yank who wants to be able to fit his golf clubs in the 'trunk' of his sports car

Why???

A Corvette with more boot space, and a less aerodynamic body? yeah, that's the answer to a question nobody asked.

Can i get it with a factory fit tow-bar too ?

Don't see why not as there's evidently some demand for sporty caravan-pullers...

Some of the best things I've ever done in life were those that made no sense in hindsight. Sometimes you don't need to justify anything, to anyone smile

But yes, I'd like a towbar, if offered.

More likely to be the Callaway tuning company that has been involved with Corvettes (and others) of the tuned and racing variety for several decades.

Maybe if they make the exhausts really strong...

One and the same.
Makers of the record-breaking Callaway Sledgehammer with, IIRC a 254mph top speed back in the 80s and purveyors of twin turbo offerings ever since.
Corvette design brief has always been to be able to fit a set of clubs in the back so the reason for the uglification is even less explicable.

As said so many times before, the composite leaf costs more than steel springs and is simply a springing medium for all round IRS which allows for far better packaging and space solutions.

For the record, I love the coupe.

It won't sell.

Cars that people say they want or praise for being a bit different at design stage never do.
