OK Price question, if I went to the US bought a Vette or similar, privately or from a dealer and got an invoice then, prior to coming back to the UK, spent cash on upgrades etc would thoes then be included in the import tax etc...would anyone know.
Take the wrecks to riches show in the US you buy a rusty old Camaro for $3000 then spent $30,000 having it restored then import it. Sales invoice would be fore $3000 not the extras
so what would happen
If it is under 10 years old, any upgrades would give you problems with the IVA as they "recognise" the FMVSS tests in the US but not if the car is modified.Take the wrecks to riches show in the US you buy a rusty old Camaro for $3000 then spent $30,000 having it restored then import it. As far as value is concerned, if the upgrades are not obvious then you might get away with the original invoice but HMCE have the power to value it themselves and bill you if they think you're lying.
Looks pretty good to me, but yet to see the full frontal for the back end.
Immeasurably better than this, but that's to be expected given Callaway's pedigree and experience:

'AeroWagon'? Looks SAAB like, and it's far from a wagon.
Wagon? The Vette's still not running leaf springs is it?
How about a European or Italian sounding name?
Callaway Corvette Goodwood?
