went cold turkey - its good to be back

We were going to Cyprus for 3 weeks on 31st of july, coincidently the same day that the near 500 quid a year RFL was due on the mps, so I SORNed it, great move.
Came back had loads to catch up on and let a months SORN slip into 2, well why not, Ive got my van and mrs lugz focus when i need more than 2 seats.
I thought I was getting by, maybe we could manage with just the 2 vehicles, its not like its causing a problem, well except when I needed 3 seats and mrs lugz needed transport (she wasnt insured for the van).
And then last Sunday I had a moment of clarity, young master lugz needed transporting to his U15 footy match and wanted to give a team mate a lift, mrs lugz decided she wants the noddy mobile back and makes and issue out of wanting to go shopping, and so its off to the post office I go the following day to hand over 260 quid to hm treasury for the right to populate her majestys highways.
2 months of a ford transit connect and a focus sport while not offensive suddenly seems a stupid idea, wtf was I thinking about, I think the 3 week hoilday had numbed me into believing that as long as it gets you from A to B and back again all is well.
Its not, I love my mps more than a grown man should really, it hasnt got paint on the seats and it doesnt make me sit there and make me watch things go past me, its plush, its fast, it sticks to the road like jam to pyjamas, Im gonna wash it tomorrow and probably look for a reason not to spend £200 to get the alloys refurbed and fail badly.
