Not something I've ever heard before to be honest - circa 280. And he also said he didn't want something with a high bork factor
Other than that I'd happily recommend one
My stock one dyno'd at 275rwhp/310flybhp at WGT and other than a dodgy window switch, has just needed servicing over the last 7 years. I've only had one so dont know what the others are like.Other than that I'd happily recommend one

Audi S5 V8 (are they really a rubbish drive?)
Wowsers, had no idea these were £15k cars already!Straight out of left-field, and I get the feeling you will dismiss it (but you really shouldnt before driving one):
Brera V6 S by Prodrive:

260+bhp, rear bias 4wd, brilliant handling (EVO rates them), special, rare & plenty more BHP on tap for relatively little outlay (supercharger conversion whilst expensive at £5k, will give 350bhp+)
It is a great car though
I loved the look of mine and it was an epic car but too many borks in the engine bay sullied my love for it.
BMW 645ci or BMW 850 spring to mind as cars which haven't been mentioned. My money would go on a Maserati 4200GT but I suspect the potential bork factor on this is quite high...
Not sure what the word special means. It's quite subjective. I have a humble 125i Coupe M Sport mapped back to 130i power. It is very special to me as it is quite superb to drive but might be very mundane to someone else of course. Paid £12k for a 26K miles 2008 example which is astonishing for a quality RWD 3L NA 6 cylinder with a very high spec. If the OP can live with it from a specialness POV then I suggest he test drives one.
