carfolio.com - what happened??

Tonight I visited carfolio.com to lookup some specs, only to find that the site has been updated.
IMHO, it's a mess!
The original site was far more useable, but it's now slow, and laden with a useless floating bar, and "World Car Specifications" floating on the bottom right of the screen.
