I think a lot of the look depends on the spec, whether it's two-tone and has blue bits on it or whatever. I saw a solid black one and it did look a bit anonymous. I saw one that was black on the bottom and a kind of burnt orange on top, that was nice.
This was grey on grey, which certainly didn't help. RossP said:
Very much like, although I'd have said it was a slightly lighter, less metalic grey (but that might just be an aspect of the rendering). On the road and in that colour, the weird window-line kink doesn't really stand out and without that, it just looks like any old people carrier.

Hmm, it's not too late to change the colour. I would have had the bright orange but you can't have that with the standard interior.

mine is going to be orange - if you're going to stand out, you may as well stand out properly. the only thing i'm unsure of is whether to keep the twisley alloys or go for the 5 spokes (i'm erring towards changing my choice to the 5 spokes,

Well I don't think it's dull, but guess there is only so much you can do with an mpv shape, even if there is no ice under the bonnet. Inside is more interesting certainly.
Looks quite clean in white with those wheels, is the blue strip optional/no cost? I'd quite fancy a grey to hide that door kink, but perhaps white now actually..

On the subject of alloys...
The spirally ones are handed ie they're different right to left so the spiral effect is the same both sides:
Except in this vomitacious BMW video, they're on backwards, which I prefer!

Yeah, the blue highlights on kidneys, sill, etc are standard on all cars apart from if you have solar orange paint which is a bit frustrating if you don't want either.
