Best lease car deals available?

But why not be specific? "£300 odd" is very vague and could be anything from £301 to £459 ( inc vat) that's a HUGE variation in cash and percentage terms. I'm genuinely not having a go at you personally but I like to see apples compared with apples not cherry(picked) deals.
Quoting a business deal is fine but without saying its only available to powerfully built directors is erroneous, if there's a personal deal then that may also have stipulations.
You're really struggling with this, aren't you? £300 would mean, at a maximum, in and around £360 with VAT. Certainly not £459! Basic stuff.Quoting a business deal is fine but without saying its only available to powerfully built directors is erroneous, if there's a personal deal then that may also have stipulations.

I am going to test drive a c250 cdi sport estate tomorrow, Mercedes Warrington want £416.00 + vat with 18k a year 3 + 35
I have been having a look around and it's seems like it's not a bad deal.
I wanted a 350 but can't find one anywhere for that kind of money.
I have also looked into BMW and Audi but there equilivant is quite a bit more.
Considering you can get an E350cdi AMG Line with the Premium Plus package worth £3500, and it also comes with comand, blurtooth, internet, led lights, dab, media, auto and leather as standard for £347 a month including vat that sound like a crap deal to me. Speak to them about upping the mileage, they will deal.

This has pissed me off in the past, I always keep my cars in pristine condition but have still been charged for scratches and blemishes invisible to the naked eye even though I send them off to be prepped prior to return. After discussions the charges have always been waived, but it is annoying having to go through the process. After the last set of arguments I swore I'd never use contract hire again, especially with Mercedes, but aftr seing what you can get for so little money I've changed my mind. £46k outlay and depreciation vs £287 per month, call me cheap but I'm going for contract hire and taking my chances when the car goes back.
When was your experience of MB? When my CLS went back a couple of years ago the return agent (BCA IIRC) were an absolute fking nightmare. However they were very reasonable over a C coupe we returned recently. Both via MBCF.VX Foxy said:

My last experience of sending a car back was 2011 when two went back, one to Audi and one to MB, I've not used contract hire since. Prior to handover I sent both cars away to be checked over and prepped as if for sale by a local company who offer the same service to the trade, they both looked brand new but according to MB every panel was scratched and chipped, Audi were OK. It's taken me 3 years for the pain of the experience to fade sufficiently to try again.iphonedyou said:

Thanks for the arithmetic lesson, much appreciated. What I said was "300 odd" is very vague and could be anything from 300 up to well in excess of 400.RYH64E said:

Speaking of returns, my SLK will be going back soon and I need to get it tidied up a bit - there are a few scuffs from London driving and three of my alloys have been mildly curbed.
Does anyone have any tips or companies who are reasonably priced for end of lease type tidy ups - perhaps smart repair type place maybe?
Thanks.

My experience is that the lease companies don't rip you off like they used to and you're as-well letting them do the repairs - you'll probably get away with some! Take a look at the guidelines linked above - iirc MB also have their own version. Ok I'll admit I've skimmed through this thread somewhat lol. We are looking at PCP options on smaller cars such as the ecoboost Fiesta, a Corsa, Seat Ibiza. We have visited dealers though, and none seem to be as good as the ones linked here. Can the companies linked on this thread be trusted? I take it they deliver? And why can't a main dealer offer these prices if they are effectively cutting out the middle man.
Of all deals I've seen the ecoboost Fiesta red edition seems to be fantastic.
Not sure what answer you're after really. We wouldn't willingly post deals from companies we knew to be con artists! That said, lease brokers are generally very small outfits, and in some cases you take the risk of passing them a deposit for them to 'hold' until such time as they pass it to the finance co. In that time yes they could go bust and then you're in a long line of creditors, but they do make a business out of this stuff so you'd need to be unlucky. Generally lease brokers operate with very small overheads. If you're asking are they crooked and will they run off with my money, well you'd hope not... in the same way as you'd hope that any other company in any other domain wouldn't do that either. Of all deals I've seen the ecoboost Fiesta red edition seems to be fantastic.
Main dealer might be able to offer those prices, but their business model is based on making you work for it. If you walk in the door and ask for "your best price on that there" you'll get list and a smile. Sometimes though a given dealer may physically not even be able to match it, and there are a number of reasons why this might be. A great way to piss some dealers off though is to walk in with a crumpled internet print off in your hand though, although some would rather get a sale than not (esp if you get a salesman who's up against it that month, targetwise) but if it's a decent car they know they can sell soon and make good money, they'll usher you out.
I have followed this thread with intrest for a while.
And my wifes circumstances are such that it maybe viable to lease rather than buy(through finance)
she currently runs a 2.0tdi golf Gt (140bhp)
and does approx 18k a year of motorway miles.
Ive just started looking around on the net, and i would hope that the new mini 5doors would be good value.
As i imagine their projected retained values will lead to slightly lower lease rates.
I would have been happy to do a straight swap for a similar golf. but i find the 2.0 diesal golf deals to be not as good value. i know its all relative, but seeing the Golf R deals puts it into perspective. just a shame her mileage really makes a differenace and economy plays a big part in the overall ownership costs.
i havnt seen anyone post any mini lease deal values in here yet. probably as the 5 door versions havnt hit the roads as yet.
i wonder if anybody has done any deals yet? and what they may have been.
looking at the configurators, its likely we would look for a 5door cooper, with the 1.5 petrol or maybe either of the diesal engines. plus then the chilli pack.
likely over 3 years, with a 20k per year mileage allowance,
deposit wise, slightly flexible on either a +3 or +6 deal depending on overall figures.
Flexible on either doing it as a private deal or putting it through a business.
although on the initial figures ive seen on the net, theirs not much actual differance.

Anyone after a Golf GTD?
http://www.contracthireandleasing.com/car-leasing-...
Seems fairly good : £244.99, 10k P.A on a 6 + 23 with excess mileage 6.2 inc. VAT.
Anyone find better?

If you put most of those parameters as filters on the contracthireandleasing website you should be able to get an indication.likely over 3 years, with a 20k per year mileage allowance,

Edit: just looked on website, quite a few choices. First one that crops up is Dick Lovett (main dealer?) have Cooper D 5dr 20k pa 3+35 £200 plus Vat.

I see you're running a 330d - how do you get on with it? I've got a 330d GT arriving soon and I'm told the engine is a belter?
