I could stretch to that, shame there's nothing floating around right now and I have about 3 weeks to order something I think.
What about E63 AMG? Or C63AMG ? they are more or less in budget if you can afford M5
If you can show me an E63 around those figures, please do smile

I need the space nowadays, the C63 is too cramped, I have been quite happy with my E350 cabin.

What do you mean by that?

maybe I have missed your point, but you don't have to be limited to be a business and get a business lease deal.

Mate has just got a new car through a business lease and he is not limited, he and his brother just make timber frame buildings.
There was no issue with him getting a business lease.
sigh. Because the point was being attempted that there was no BIK because the company owns the car, except there is no company, so you own it.
Not sure what you're going on about.

I agree he was wrong that there is no BIK, but it was your comment at the start that I don't understand......

???

That is just not correct.

Why is there no company?

I agree, BIK will be due if using the car personally, but I don't get why you think there is no company unless ltd or plc?
I think the argument has come full circle now, Blown2CV i think agrees that some people (sole traders/partnerships) can get business leases without having to dance through the BIK minefield.

If you own a Ltd then it's more complex to avoid it being classed as a company car. Although in that position I would set up a sole trading bank account for any 'consulting' I want to do on the side then use that to access a business lease.

This is true, I rang up to correct a company who had the wrong account name on a direct debit mandate, they said the name didn't matter providing the numbers were correct, and that has to be the case because the direct debit goes out every month with no problem despite the account name being completely wrong. However, I recently took out a contract hire on a Mercedes and the lease company wanted to see 3 months bank statements, they might have been a bit suspicious if I submitted personal statements instead of business, or if the sort code and account numbers were different to those on the DD.

That really is a great deal, even with deposit added in, £279 a month. Decent mileage allowance as well, I'm currently enjoying a 2 seater while I can, but that would make a great family car

Is it really that good though? for a personal lease 19k over the 2 years. I know its a more expensive vehicle, but the C63 deals seemed much better value

I would only consider an E63, the C63 is too small for me.

I've submitted an enquiry based on a business lease for now, I'll see what they come back with.

You would lose 35k+ if you bought the car

Just to point out - a lot of the above quotes for the Golf R/Audi S3 - although they say personal, they will say below "PCH conditions apply" which basically means that you need to be able to claim business mileage from your employer - so check that out!

At full price. It does still look slightly more cost effective than purchasing, although not by much. Its just a little out of my comfort zone to rent an eclass I guess...each to their own.

Probably not £35k over two years going by the usual depreciation curve, more likely that amount in three years.
