DSG, sorry forgot to mention. Personally I don't think the car suits a manual, and I like some of the trickery built into the DSG such as blip down-changes under load. it's very fast through the cogs and perfectly acceptable auto in traffic or indeed anytime not hooning. Purists barf at the idea, but it suits me great.

standard everything. I think the 18s look plenty big on there anyway, can't help but think the 19s would compromise the ride.

I have just enquired on a Fiesta ST-2 @ £168pm and approx £1200 deposit with all fees on a 6+23 contract inc VAT

Seems a decent deal but only 8k pa so need to see what additional mileage is first... has anyone seen anything better?
Rivervale leasing have the Fiesta ST-2 for £162 inc vat on a 6+23. 10K per annum

Just realised red is a cost option. Not getting screwed on options, so looks like blue is my only option aside from resale silver/white/grey/black
I went for Tenorite Grey in the end, was going to get Palladium Silver but my wife preferred the grey, I have a boring taste in car colours so either was ok with me.
Been again with the missus. Tenorite grey it is biggrin

Have you got a delivery date ? Dealer reckoned non of the 9 speeds will be here this year.

I've got an early December build slot, I'm hoping for delivery in December and have been told it should be here before Christmas, but it doesn't matter if it drags into January. That's for the 9 speed, I don't suppose I'd notice the difference between the current box and the new one, but having the old one and knowing that there was a newer version available would have grated. I'll have to try to count the gears when it arrives to make sure I've actually got 9.

I did the GW2L deal for the Focus ST3. Got Spirit Blue and I put £2187 as a deposit and its £182 a month. 2 years. Arrives Friday.

TBH If I had known about the Golf deal I would have probably gone with that - problem is i despise the silver wheels and would want Blue with the 19's so I suspect it would cost a lot more and Im trying to keep my monthly costs down (ironic?). Also I insure my 23 year old GF so I can imagine the figures getting pretty stty - She cost me about £200 extra last year on a bmw 320d so 300hp might be quite bad.

Just thought I would let anyone know considering a GW2L fiesta St-3 deal they have non available until December as would have to be a factory deal website states they have stock but they don't. I have been in contact with them all week trying to source one.

They are the cheapest around that I can see however.

Just seen Gateway have got some cheap deals on a 330d GT. Shame about the looks, but good deal considering it's a close to a £43k car.

Exact spec is a 330d GT xDrive Auto, with M Sport Plus Package (Bigger alloys, xenons, privacy glass, M Sport braking, H & K Audio). Shame you have to add nav, but still probably not much more on the monthlies.

Being advertised on a 6 + 23, 8k £324 a month inc. vat.
