BMW don't want to see new 5 series being advertised with 20% off, it devalues the brand terribly.
And the only way DTD et al could do that was to agree fleet discount prices with certain dealers, who have now got their knuckles wrapped by BMW UK.
they may be discounts, but they are discounts available to walk-up customers if they try hard enough, not fleet discounts which require vehicles to be registered in certain ways that require it to be in the name of a company.

Can we keep this thread for posting great lease deals? Why is discussion taking place on PCP, or the pros/cons of leasing, or tax planning??!!

It's frustrating wading through pages of chatter.

Just saying.

Steep compared to a base ST on PCP, yes.

How important is it to have the ST3?
Base ST has a st interior ST-2 is the best compromise imo provides everything you would need and more importantly the recaros.

PCP deals I have seen won't let me go anywhere near the 16000 miles I will do without silly excess mileage charges.

I got offered a Fiesta ST-2 with style pack on a 6+23 contract £165pm for 10kpa

Excess mileage was approx 7p per mile
12000*0.07 = £840
6+23 (29) * 165 = £4,785
Total = £5,625

This was with rivervale leasing

We are extremely lucky on some of the lease deals we get here, talking to a friend in Sweden who is paying about £400 a month for a Clio!

So I'm interested in getting a different car soon and had started to consider getting a lease car. For me it's not the attraction of getting something you couldn't afford to purchase outright but more being able to get a brand new car and (if I don't dink it, fair enough) know exactly what I'm going to lose in depreciation over the term. After getting some quotes from a few well known sites this is the best I could find on a fiesta ST -

Fiesta ST3 (9+23) - 16000 miles per year - £1757.98 deposit - £195.28 per month - £75 admin fee - £6324.42 total cost over 2 years - £263.52 total cost per month.

To me that seems a bit steep, am I being tight?
You can get a focus ST3 cheaper than that.

Maybe you could provide a link to the deal for a focus ST3 on 2 year lease with 16000 miles that is cheaper?

The reason its so pricey is the mileage, double what most lease deals offer. Do you really need 16,000 miles a year if so I dont think leasing is going to be a good option

It is but I can't find the deal! I would need 10k pa so this is all a bit pie in the sky, but if anyone can show me a link, please do!

Central UK Vehicle Leasing.

Not awful value but a 7 Series can be had for less again and the review isn't especially favourable of the Maserati.

But still, Maserati!

(And mileage charges are everything - no one will actually only use the 5k miles per year, so you have to factor that in).

The maser deal is from Central UK leasing....

I've emailed them for more info so will post when I get it....I think there way be only a few cars at that price as the new quattroporte isn't selling to well.

10k: £434.41 per month excl. VAT

So that's £80 per month for 5k p.a. or approx. 20ppm.
