Because that isn't what the thread is titled or the principle on which threads are generally posted (imho) - the idea being they have a topic and you read it if you are interested in that topic. I'm not familiar with a forum on which you read all topics in case there is an post several pages in that might appeal - not a great use of time. I don't necessarily read pistonheads every day and sometimes it seems like reading through pages hoping to find a nugget of a deal and there are none or few - somewhat defeating the purpose of the thread. I thought that is why internet forums are moderated, to seek to keep them relevant and on-track. Not a problem in terms of Syria, world peace or an ebola pandemic no, a minor frustration on that scale. We are at risk of taking the thread of topic also so happy to leave it there.

Of course then along come some lease deals to prove me wrong smile
As you say, you're doing exactly the same thing, taking the thread slightly off topic with posts that would maybe better in the 'Website feedback' section. This site is a a useful source of information but not strictly a reference site, does it really matter if there's a bit of discussion, debate and advice mixed in with strictual factual lease prices?

Looks like a good deal on a 420d to me - £252 per month (9+23) total cost: £8,064 including VAT.

http://www.synergyautomotive.co.uk/BMW/4%20SERIES/...

Or for something completely different perhaps a Leaf on PCP for similar money? Much cheaper than when I looked in the summer:
http://www.pistonheads.com/GASSING/topic.asp?h=0&a...

Both low miles. 7,500 for the Leaf (10p per mile extra). BMW I think is 5000 miles (actually says 10,000 in the small print but I think this is an error) with an unknown excess mileage charge.

Looks less of a deal when you factor in only 5k a year. £7k to do 10k is poor value IMHO.

Yes you're probably right, it all hinges on that excess mileage charge which they don't display until you apply.

My maths not quite right, including VAT it is £8064 total. Original post edited.

£334.84 inc. VAT 9+23 for the E350 with the premium plus (upgraded stereo etc.) pack
I'd say those were both good value for the bigger 6 cylinder 3.0 engines. Most 'cheap' lease deals are on the smaller 4 cylinder 2.0 diesels. I am paying £300 + VAT for my E220 CDI which was a fair price back in May when I took it on, would much prefer a E350 CDI or 530D for similar money! Oh well only 18 months left on my lease :-)

A couple more specials from CentralUKvehicleleasing.co.uk out today (no connection other than as a customer), all two year deals:

Fiesta 1.0 Zetec S - £1500 + £80 ex VAT, 5k miles p.a., mileage unknown - £4,008 inc VAT for two years

Civic S diesel - £1500 + £90 ex VAT, 5k miles p.a., mileage unknown - £4,284 inc VAT for two years

Golf TDi Match - £1500 + £100 ex VAT, 5k miles p.a., 6ppm thereafter - £4,560 inc VAT for two years

MB E220 AMG Line (ahem!) estate, standard auto and nav - £1755 + £195, 5k miles p.a., assume 9ppm thereafter (higher mileages are available but all work out roughly 9ppm anyway) - £7,488 inc VAT for two years.

That Golf is an incredibly good deal imo

10k lease would work out at around £5,200 over 2 years or £215pm

Seen better on the Fiesta as per below link..

8k miles £647.88 Deposit + £107.98pm.

£3131.42 for 2 years. Cracking deal.

In comparison, I got a 1.6tdci Zetec-s through work with a few options for £1000 deposit and £200pm. Think the options came to £33pm. That was with a 6k p/a limit.

This was before I discovered leasing.

I calculate 6 lots of £153.09 to be £918.54. It's 9+23 wink

As above, who's it with? How many miles, also?
