Not this again. Not bothering to look at this thread anymore. All i wanna do is look to see the best lease car deals available....AKA the fking thread title!!! Not reading about people contemplating leasing and wondering what 6+23 means, deciding what to do with their tax planning, comparing it to PCP, promoting their own rubbish websites, etc, etc.

FFS!!!!!!!

I've just ordered a Kia Sportage KX3 (Sat nav) through leasing options for £220 per month, £1350 down at 10k miles a year. I guess this would be 'similar' to your needs?
Why didn't you get the KX4 for £228
That looks bloody good value to me. Hmmm......
Simply, as I didn't see that deal at the time! I was all set to pay more per month for a KX2, until I spotted the deal on the 3, so I thought I'd done quite well.

That said, the only advantage the 4 really has is more bhp - which is rather moot as I'm stepping out of a V8 Audi and plan to get something 'quick' as a fun car to run alongside the Kia.

Quick question - looking at the Leasing Options website, they offer 2, 3 or 4 years deals. On some of the cars, the 2 year deal is a much cheaper monthly price, on others the 4 year deal is cheaper & on some it's pretty much the same. How come? (these are personal lease prices BTW)

Kia Sportage KX-4 is £228pm for a 2 year and £275 for a 4 year.
Hyundai IX35 is £255pm for a 2 year and £215 for a 4 year.
Nissan Qashqai is £228pm for a 2 year and £230 for a 4 year.
Firstly the deposit is going to be spread across a shorter period. So assuming 6 months' deposit on each, the monthly costs are much closer together: e.g., £275.50 vs £303 average on the Sportage.

That said, there could be other reasons: e.g., the lease company's own funding is cheaper over 2 years than 4 on the basis that interest rates may rise, the fact that if they are getting the Sportage for a crazy discount like £15k then it might trade at £13k (meaning they only have to fund interest and a little bit of depreciation) and it will become prime retail stock as a two-year-old. At four years old, things will be much less certain. A high mileage two-year old can still be sold on a main dealer forecourt: at four years and 80k it's going to auction and the straight line depreciation and interest may be the same, or even more, per month.

Didn't know you were getting something to run along side it.
Have you mentioned that before? :-)

That's so cheap I might give them a call tomorrow, using this for 10k could add up what I would save in petrol and could share it around at work... Unless your lucky etc smoking around in a banger would likely cost more...

It's a business deal, very much doubt the price for private lease will be the same.

If your next courtesy car is a brand new one of those you'll know why smile

And the 'banger' would be a much nicer place to be and drive, in all likelihood.

So it seems the real stand out deals recently were:
M135i
Golf R
Both sub £300 a month over 2 year period. I'm hoping something similar will appear soon - S3 maybe?

That sounds like a decent offer, I'm just wondering, do these leasing companies check if you put down you want it on a business type conteact?

Can you really blag it and get it on a business contract instead of a private one?

Yes they do and no you can't. Some moody brokers will claim they can, but they claimed you could with the Golf R's, fudged it through and got found out and VW pulled some deals away from people.

Really good deals are actually very rare. You might not see anything like that for s couple of years, and almost definitely not on a car you might want before you saw the deal. The trick is to not want anything and buy what's cheap when it comes up, if you then decide you might like it.

Quite. If you were in the market for an executive car the recent E350 deal was too good to pass up imo, a £46k car for £287+vat per month on 6+23, that's far cheaper than buying.

Thank you that's not bad. Two weeks ago there was a deal on the e class coupe which was only 245 a month vat inclusive! I missed that too (!)
