HI Guys, yes its a new car, the 34 miles on the clock I did on the test drive this morning. My dealer has a deal on for the next few days with discounts on current new registered stock. So the list price has a decent discount even before we start talking deals.
Check those figures carefully and I would also suggest that you get the Auto. The Auto box makes this a great car.bigweb said:

With 34 miles on it and already registered it is not a new car and you will be the second keeper. This doesn't stop it being a great deal, IMHO this is a good way to buy a car, but just be aware when making comparisons - thats why it's cheaper than you'd expect for a new car.tim0409 said:

This is a crazy amount of car for the money IMO.

The ultimate all weather family/business workhorse?
Same I'm not in the position to sign up for a lease as I'm in the process of looking to move house.
5k pa mileage allowance is pretty poor though - I wonder what the price is for a more realistic allowance (or the excess)?http://www.clvr.org.uk/personal-lease-cars/skoda/o...

So not for everyone, but I like the flexibility of lower mileage lease deals with a reasonable excess charge.

Does anyone know what happens if your lease company goes out of business?
Wouldn't want to be a month into a lease and have an administrator say they want the car back after paying a big upfront payment.
Your contract is with the finance co rather than the broker, so unlikely to happen. The broker is just an introducer.Wouldn't want to be a month into a lease and have an administrator say they want the car back after paying a big upfront payment.

(12k per year was £15 per month more)
Is the excess mileage paid at the end? Would definitely be better to do it that way round if so.

15000 miles per year
48 months

Got a quote for 10k per year, 6+23 at £196 inc VAT. Excess is 10p per mile so works out £300 cheaper over the life to take 5k per year and the rest in excess mileage.

Yes I believe you pay the excess at the end. I've not had experience of it myself though. I've found most brokers very helpful to answer any questions you have if you want confirmation email or phone them - personally I'd always want to phone someone and speak to them before I considered a lease off them to gauge how customer focused they were was I to have an issue.(12k per year was £15 per month more)

Did someone ask for cheap hothatch deals?
This just pinged through one and email - not sure what to make of this car having read the reviews though. And's it's a very short lease so may work out quite expensive monthly with a 9x upfront.
Nissan Juke Nissmo RS 218PS

Yup, as I thought, it works out as £258.27 per month amortised over the 18 months - not that cheap but might suit someone?
