Best lease car deals available?

indeed, the topic is the topic. TBH TheBroker has already offered to accept PMs from anyone with questions, so maybe he's your best first port of call for expert advice.
This thread will evolve in the way it's users want it to evolve, which may or may not be in accordance with your wishes. That's how it works, like it or not.Park said:
hey sidekick, I checked out that deal and I don't know your circumstances or reasoning but
At £4.5K a year for me that is expensive for a Vauxhall. For my money I would be looking at a Passat estate for similar money. I am getting an XC60 SE AWD in the next few weeks for that money
My deal was via GR8 up in the North West
the deal from tilsun is about £3k a year for the insignia is it not? seems good to me.At £4.5K a year for me that is expensive for a Vauxhall. For my money I would be looking at a Passat estate for similar money. I am getting an XC60 SE AWD in the next few weeks for that money

Couldn't resist the Octavia vRS deal that was posted earlier in the thread.
Dark grey standard spec car ordered a week ago for £199/month, 24 month lease. Fingers crossed this leasing business works out as it seems like it should.
Did you order it through Simpsons? I was quoted £1500 down and 24x £241 a month for a vRS estate, 10k miles pa, I'm very tempted. Dark grey standard spec car ordered a week ago for £199/month, 24 month lease. Fingers crossed this leasing business works out as it seems like it should.

Chaps,
Slight deviation from topic (don't shoot!), but anyone know what is best in this scenario.
I am looking to lease or PCP, just looking for the right deal. I will be applying for a mortgage in a years time. I wonder what impact a lease has in comparison to the PCP finance, in the eyes of a mortgage provider.
My feeling is it will be on monthly payment/affordability either way. Unless anyone else has a better idea or experience?
This is my issue too - we want to move this year and the new rules take your monthly outgoings into consideration - I don't know how car leases are considered by the banks, but I suspect they just look at the monthly figure the same as any other loan. As I've said before, I had a Golf R on order that got cancelled - if we had not decided to move house before VW gave in and the Golf R deals came back I would have reordered despite being seriously fked off at VWFS' patronising treatment of me.Slight deviation from topic (don't shoot!), but anyone know what is best in this scenario.

I still keep an eye on lease deals and contribute to this thread as I love a bargain and helping other people spend their money! Also keeping an eye on the market and understanding all the tricks etc keeps my toe in for when I am ready to lease a car.
I could be wrong about how car leases are looked at when applying for a mortgage, so maybe we should be asking our resident Mortgage expert the question - a guy who offers advice in a similar way to the Broker appears to be claiming - I spoke to Liam (Sarnie on PH) after he posted an awesomely detail response to my Mortgage MMR question and he will be sorting my mortgage out for me once I am ready as he is the best mortgage advisor I have spoke to - there was no pressure to use him but he was so forthcoming with quality advice.
I can't vouch for The Broker, but I'm happy for people to post advice on here and answer questions if they are genuine and honest about their self interest, even if it does get them business. The cynical will say (and I'm usually one cynical SoaB) that this is their approach - offer advice and then benefit from gaining business - but it would soon get around the forum if someone like this was useless - It takes a lot of work to reply to questions on PH, and even if they gain some business, there is a good chance people will take their advice and go elsewhere, so it's not always a clear case of complete self interest.

the bank won't view pcp or pch any differently as are they are essentially (but not exactly!) the same thing. from the banks perspective its all about your monthly income v's monthly outgoings and your ability to meet your commitments - not what 'type' of outgoings/commitments you have if that makes sense?Slight deviation from topic (don't shoot!), but anyone know what is best in this scenario.

Yes, through Simpsons. The estate sounds like it's practically the same deal, with a little extra interest due to the lower deposit. They were very good - all dealt with over the phone/email. littlebasher said:
Wish i could find a DSG Tiguan at those prices - all i can find are manuals!
2.0 TDi BlueMotion Tech Match 5dr DSG - http://vw.selectvehiclelease.co.uk/detail_view.php...

i have never used any of these companies before fyi
i also reckon you could get a DSG Tiguan from a vw dealer for about £250pm on 3+23 @ 8k mpa - the whatcar leasing site is good for an idea of what dealers will start at.

Were they able to offer auto as well at a similar price, or just manual?

Close yes, premium for auto I'm afraid, I never bother pushing the mega initial payment deals on ch as in truth most people don't want more than a 6+Damn her auto only license - been a ballache for as long as we've been together
