I have been looking recently for something relatively quick and not too expensive - VRS' can be had quite cheap, but the main car which has surprised me (that I hadn't even considered) is the Leon Cupra 280. You can get the DSG on a maintained lease, 20k miles for just over £300 inc VAT - obviously even better deals for lower mileage. I'm seriously considering going for one, as there is nothing else available anywhere near the same price bracket.
That deal you've quoted would be ideal for me, as I'm due to hand back a company car in exchange for allowance in the next 1-3 months. Do you have a link to it?

Is there such a thing as a ‘whole of market’ lease broker who will take a fee payable on taking a lease to scour other brokers and perhaps have some direct relationships to find a best deal on a basket of cars?
Don't know if it's the 'whole' market but such things exist.

The vRS deals are good at the moment but it's the oil burners it seems. I've had one on a lease for over a year and it's been a cracking car. Wondering for what it offers at the price point I'll replace it with in 10 months time-probably another if the deals are good.

Central have what looks like a decent 535d M Sport deal, 9+24, 8000 miles

Saloon £343.19 inc. VAT total £11.1k Equivalent £5.6k/yr, £463/mo
Touring £363.59 inc. VAT total £11.8k Equivalent £5.9k/yr, £491/mo

A bit cheaper on 5000 miles (£319/£338)

Not sure on the excess mileage charge, have asked.

Anyone have any info on Seat Leon lead times? None of the leasing companies have returned my calls/emails and Seat UK haven't even bothered either.

Does anyone know what happens to the price on the 5 Series deals once you add Professional Navigation?

Have a look at nationwide they have similar deals slightly cheaper at £336.33 as per the above for 9+23 over 8k miles, which amortised works out at £448.44 or £10762. This site is configurable

Not sure what professional navigation is? Read the spec it says business advanced nav is standard and doesn't show professional nav as an option?

It's the proper full size navigation in the 5 Series, Business is the cut down version on the tiny screen (with plastic blanks either side of where the proper screen should go) which has been chucked in as standard to please the fleet market. It's a £1200 option, no idea why it isn't listed.

As a £1200 option as a lease holder you will pay every penny of an option over the term, regardless if it adds to the depreciation value of the car or not, so in this case it will add £50pm for a 24m deal.

Bus NAV does a great job of getting you to your destination. Pro NAV is better but not worth it on a leased car.
