How long does it normally take for a application to get checked/approved? I applied for the 208 Gti deal on Thursday afternoon back have not heard back yet
1-2 days for me. Give them a call to check, there's no point double guessing, they'll quickly tell you where they are with the process.wemorgan said:

LEXUS IS SALOON 300h Executive Edition 4dr CVT Auto (Business Contract Hire deal)
6+23, 8k/yr, £180+VAT
prices then went up to £230, now they're down to £210. Still a 1/2 decent deal considering the costs of competitor cars.LEXUS IS SALOON 300h Executive Edition 4dr CVT Auto (Business Contract Hire deal)

Brokers don't get registration bonuses.
Commission - possible, but highly unlikely in this case. In fact most deals are done with no commission at all. The broker fee/admin fee/whatever you want to call it is how they make their money.
You're just guessing how it works, and then using that guess to label them dishonest.
Some leasing companies allow a broker to build commission in to a deal. Some of the manufacturer deals don't, hence the admin costs. Although some brokers build commission in as well as having an admin fee. Commission - possible, but highly unlikely in this case. In fact most deals are done with no commission at all. The broker fee/admin fee/whatever you want to call it is how they make their money.

At the end of the day chack the total amount for the period and check the clause about what happens if the vehicle is stolen or written off so youre not left with no car and no money.
Good mate of mine runs a Lease co. and just sent me this golf deal http://www.cultleasing.co.uk/business-lease-cars/v...
Looks bloody cheap! Typical VW Business Users though.

Aside from VehicleSavers.com, who else has the 208 GTi deals?
Excess mileage with VehicleSavers is 6ppm + VAT so 7.2ppm
Anyone dealt with the above or know of them by reputation?

I pay 7.2ppm on a 5k VW lease.
I used to pay 10.8ppm on a 10k Mercedes lease.
Both include VAT.
Anything up to about 5p/£10k of list price is roughly acceptable - but obviously less is better.
If you're into 20ppm territory, go for something else no matter how good the deal, unless you KNOW the car will never exceed the contract mileage by a material amount.
18.7p on the 435d I've just ordered.I used to pay 10.8ppm on a 10k Mercedes lease.

8p on the MINI Cooper we've got for the OH.
I've got the 4 series on 20k miles per annum so it'll cost me another £1,870 if I do an additional 10k miles. On a £45k car I don't see this as over the top but then unless circumstances change massively I won't be going over this.

It's through Alphadrive which is for BMW employees and their close family so unfortunately not available for everyone.£400 per month over 18 months, no deposit, 30k miles over the term.
But the ppm charges for going over seem broadly in line with normal leases.
I do have a question for those of you in the know when it comes to leasing, have you ever come across options that actually decrease the monthly payment due to increase in resale?
I added the desirable 19" wheel upgrade which is a £670 option but it actually decreases the lease by £4.13 a month, presumably because they'll sell it more easily at the end as an AUC?

I thought this thread was for good deals. For comparison, here's a 6+23 deal on the BMW 335d X Drive with Business media @ £316 p/m inc VAT. 8k per year mileage allowance: http://www.gateway2lease.com/z_bmw_3-seriessaloon_...
Or a BMW 420i GranCoupe on a 6+23 @ £274 p/m inc VAT. 8k per year mileage allowance: http://www.gateway2lease.com/z_bmw_4-seriesgrancou...
Admittedly neither are Maseratis but I'm sure they'd be nice places to spend time for much less money!
