Back on to deals.
I thought THIS 420D M Sport Pro Media Auto 9 +23 @ £214.26 monthly wasn't bad.
Until I scrolled further down and saw THIS 430D M Sport Pro Media Auto for only £35 pounds a month more
Nice. Whilst looking on same site I saw THIS Bmw 6 Series Gran Coupe 640i SE 4dr Auto
6+23 5k @ £337/month inc VAT

Would like to know excess mileage as at 10k price jumps to £1138 inc VAT!

M sport also on offer for about £24/month extra.

Thought I would post this n here for some advice,

im currently looking for a new motor to get to work and back and to go from Kent to Edinburgh 6 times a year with family in tow and dog. Im in the position where I can have Motability through my Armed forces pension.

S Max titanium sport 180 durateq tdci £1999 advanced payment then £256 a month all in (so I only need to pay the £256 and fuel)
ST 3 tdci £1498 then £256
Volvo xc60 £1999 then £256 D5 se Lux auto

Will it be cheaper to do a private lease or are these a good deal?
As you know Motab deals are fully inclusive with maintenance, tyres, insurance and no mileage allowance. There's nothing comparable in the market.

I reckon that maintenance, tyres and insurance are about £80 worth each month on average, less on a smaller car obviously. Depending on your mileage, the 20k limit might not be worth anything or it might be huge.

That Volvo is £11k all in for three years. Take off (80 x £35) and you get £8,200. It's 50% longer than a 2-year deal, so that's £5,500.

A 9+23 deal for the low monthly payments would work out at £170 per month - or £142 + VAT. A 9+35, if you could find one, would be the equivalent of £186 inc or £155 ex VAT.

On a *really* good day that might get you a Yeti on an 8k mile deal - decent value for the rest of us, but I'd still take the V60.

I would need over 15k minimum as with work I do a 32 mile commute each way on the m25 hence the Auto, Currently have a 320D which works out £14,000 over the same period with all costs

I have been offered a Peugot 308 GT Hdi for 246 + vat at 1+23 including servicing.
The car is only just out, was wondering if this was a good deal and whether the car is any good
Thanks

No, it's just a deal I get through an association I am a member of.

So strange, at 8k per year it's still quite cheap:

Personal Leasing
£279.37 per month inc vat
Initial payment
£2,095.29 plus vat

@ 10K/yr
Personal Leasing
£506.70 per month inc vat
Initial payment
£3,800.25 plus vat
Might as well order two cars with 8k a year and drive them alternately.

What mileage allowance is that?
It comes to £3542 for the year which is not especially good in my opinion.

This deal works out better @ £2856/yr

Personally for similar money I'd rather have:
£2872/yr

Course it does, my company have given me a budget and said I can have what I want in that budget and if I want a better car the. I have to personally put a little bit of money in to get the payments right so I could be in a 40k car and it personally cost me 1k! I couldn't care what the company puts in as long as I'm ok

Speak to any broker as they don't set the terms - the finance company does - and brokers will find lots that will accommodate you. Big 'initials' are very common.
