Trouble with the Leon in my opinion is the interior I think the dash looks like an 80s car all crap and plastic

The exterior is quite nice though

And I wouldn't lease or buy a golf r personally they seem to attract a lot of undesirables

Unlike some I don't have an issue with leasing versus buying, whatever works for individuals.

But I do find the way some on here price up leases to be very strange. The deposit is non-refundable, so why not include it in the price?

And really, who wants to have a car where the lease is only for 8k miles a year?

You answer your own question. Some people don't do a lot of miles...

I only do 7k miles per year. I am moving soon so I could stretch that to 8k miles. I have access to cars at work for my UK travel and an XC90 for holidays and any long distance personal stuff.

Annoying.

I sent an enquiry to Blue Chilli regarding this Cooper SD deal last week. They tell me that they actually only have one car 'in stock', which is a metallic colour and therefore the cost increased by £40/month.

Yet they still advertise the cheaper deal online.

"Initial payment" is probably a better term.

8k works for some people. Excess mileage is also generally low. I probably only do 5-6k miles of personal miles, then don't know how many work miles I'll be doing. I put aside a chunk of the 45p/mile I get for expensed mileage to cover the extra cost at the end - better than getting too many miles and not using them.

Anyone else ordered one of the 208 GTi deals a couple of weeks ago?

If so what delivery time were you quoted? so far leas company can only give me August as the estimated delivery date, not particularly helpful.

Cheers
Its the same for me, when I first applied I was actually told mid June, this soon went to mid July once I'd signed then after chasing them up this week I'm also told August!! I'm starting to think they will actually be September.

Chris.
Similar story, mid-June then mid to end of July...now I've just had an email saying it's the end of August.

I couldn't get a bmw dealer to give me a test drive in a 335d x drive m sport, despite putting an enquiry in to 2 separate dealers and also to BMW customer services. Got one phone call back: "when would you like to test drive it?", answered any day from Friday to Monday, "ok, I'll call you back". Call back was. .....Tuesday. ....

That's expensive, if you wait for one of Merc's pretty frequent run of lease deals you should be able to get a much better deal.
