How many times does it need to be said.
Post deals, not arguments about the pros and cons.
Sorry about that, should have been separate thread.Post deals, not arguments about the pros and cons.
Surely best deal includes
Model, Arrangement fee, up front fee, monthly fee, pence per mile over, replacement if total loss (insurer willing)
We know all of those are variables
Of course, discuss deals, that IS what this thread is about, but insurance and who does only 5k in a year etc, needs to go else where.
Who made you king of forum thread content?
DO you do that in real life if anyone deviates from your strict test of what the current conversation is?
Would you say in a nasal voice "Erm, excuse me. If you can remember I started this conversation by asking about the Greek situation and I am embarrassed to notice that you appear to have strayed into the realms of the Spanish economy. Quite an embarrassing faux pas there, old chap, but don't worry - let's all pretend it didn't happen and we need not discuss the matter further"
Weirdo.

Say's who? I can't get my head around people on this thread who start crying when any post is made that doesn't fit their criteria about what should, or should not go on this thread.

Read the title. It's fairly specific, not 'gosh how can anyone on earth drive less than 5k just because I don't'. Its stupid, use logic, these deals fit some people and don't fit others. Who made you king of forum thread content?

Still aren't convincing me that it's up to you to angrily decide who posts what. Strikes me that you've made more irrelevant posts than anyone on this thread! Now stop bleating, this thread is supposed to be for lease deals and not your mid-life angst
And you're not now doing the same? You really are a sad miserable git. I'm out.

You are not a petrolHead as you do not say in your profile what you have in your garage so should you be on the motoring section at all.

£1125 down and 24 x £136 monthly 10000 miles per annum
Didn't think it was a bad price for a mum mobile
We are seriously considering a Mokka to replace the Q3. I was genuinely surprised at how nice they are inside, the seats in the SE are brilliant.http://www.jetvehiclefinance.co.uk/Search/ViewVehi...

Got a few Mokkas at work at I've yet to hear anything positive about them. I would be very surprised if you didn't find a big downgrade from a Q3! (Deal itself sounds Ok though)

So I am currently on the lookout for my first lease deal (Buying a house, want to free up the cash in my Scirocco)
Nothing around at the moment really grabbing me, do you tend to see alot of deals coming up for example when the new reg comes out or later on in the year towards end of year targets?
I'm looking to spend no more than £6k over a 2 year period including maintenance and insurance. Insurance is going to be 250-350 depending on vehicle for me, want something a reasonable size too as lots of furniture to buy etc.
I've seen a few things here and there (Mokka's, mazda 3, Juke and Jeep Renegades) but none of them tick all the boxes for me so i'm going to keep holding out until the right one appears.

Be careful to check as the lease payments can have a big affect on your borrowing if you are sorting a mortgage.
Thanks for advice but shouldn't cause any issue, we can already comfortably afford the mortgage which should be approved before the end of the week, I won't be taking the lease deal out until the right one comes along which could be next week or next month My girlfriends 08 plate Fiesta has seen better days and is about time we sell.
Does anyone know any cheap lease deals, with preferably a small payment upfront? She is looking for something that is roughly the same size as her Fiesta.
Something along the lines as another Fiesta, Corsa, Polo, Ibiza.
Many thanks.

If you get a car allowance and leave your job you still have you still have to pay the lease payments. Mortgage companies look at your commitments and it will show as a commitment you have to pay same as HP dealAren't these (mainly) business lease deals so your employer pays the lease for you and nothing to do with your mortgage.

My bro in law who is a Financial Advisor was telling me that part of their new affordability rating they do when lending is not only a more comprehensive background check on all of your finances but also by calculating if the interest rate shot up to 7.5%. He told me that it roughly works out that an average 100k mortgage would increase from £450 per month, up to £740. I think chances of interest rates increasing like that are virtually impossible but the lenders are using some pretty strict methods to give themselves increased security.
PCH is usually recorded in credit history as the amount due to be paid during lease. For example: Operational leasing, 23 x £xxx, total £xxx (cost of lease over 24 months).
If you take PCP then the whole value of finance with baloon payment is recorded in credit history. For example £40K as total debt and then 23 x £xxx. Of course you may plan to return the car after 24 months but it still shows total amount in your credit file.
