Guy tried to palm a C180 stock vehicle onto me as an 'alternative'. Useless.

I'm finding brokers absolutely hopeless - I don't think a single one has responded to emails and when I've rung they don't seem in the slightest interested. I'm sitting here ready to order.
I have had a reasonable response from VW dealers themselves in terms of they've come back to me - but several times now the deal that arrives by email is different to what they said on 'phone. In one I was about to order and it transpired they'd forgotten to add VAT.

I've not received I don't think (checked junk folder too).
I think a trip round the main dealers is this weekend's plan, although if they're like you've been experiencing then it might not help!

It was just that one dealer emailed me their stock list and it had a Pacific Blue 5dr DSG Golf R on it. But if they're generally on 5-6mths leadtime then I don't suppose they'd be up for much of deal on it even if it is still there.I've not received I don't think (checked junk folder too).

I'd take a 5 door to avoid the wait! I'll see what I find out with a big of looking. Quite frustrating isn't it!

Anyone know what the usual deal with options is?
I keep seeing reports of people who have loaded cars at reasonable prices, but when I ask about options the prices I'm getting fully load the option cost onto the lease.
ie on Tiguan I'm looking at, there's one solid colour and met paint is coming out at around £25/mth over 23 payments (£575 - vs £540 in the price list) which is an absurd proportion of the monthly cost.
The secret of a good lease deal is to not have any options.Once you start to add options the monthly cost goes up a lot but the lease company will be happy as you pay the full cost over your lease period and then they have a car with lots of options to sell when you give it back.I keep seeing reports of people who have loaded cars at reasonable prices, but when I ask about options the prices I'm getting fully load the option cost onto the lease.

Look for deals where metallic, sat nav etc are part of the deal.Three golden rules add the admin charge, initial payment and monthly payments to see the total cost over the lease period, try not to have a large initial payment of over £750-£1000 as if your car is stolen or written off you lose the money and also it may be cheaper to get a lower mileage deal with a cheap pence per mile than a larger mileage allowance.

That's a decent deal but that website always confuses me on how accurate it is, like if you put another 2000 miles on that deal the price goes all the way up to £232/month.Initial Payment: £1,800.00 (Inc VAT)

It does it with other deals i've seen on their site before too.
I have a Golf from them; they initially said that they could offer any mileage but it turned out that they could only offer 5k per year and a specified amount per mile. That was still a good deal and so I went for it.
As it happens I haven't done as much mileage as I expected and it's worked out well for me (so far).
Anything BMW tends to have very high pence per mile compared to anything VW Group or even Mercedes, so I'd be a bit nervous but it's worth looking into.

With quotes this week, PPM mile I'm getting for MB is 16p plus vat (on CLS) and 9p plus vat on Beemer's.
Am waiting for quotes on a7 but dealers very sloooooow....
The CLS quotes are good for business users but on personal they're a lot higher than the business rates plus VAT.
Maybe if I registered a company on companies house.
